Mountain Judo ranks are as follows

Promotion Criteria

 For Juniors and Pee Wees there are six colored belts as shown below.

Seniors have only four. They are white, green, brown & black

Text Box: Juniors (age 8-16) will receive stripes on their belt for promotions within each color. There are three stripes to each rank color
 
Text Box: Pee Wees (age 4-7) will receive stars on their belt for promotions within each color. There are five stars to each rank color
Text Box: Seniors (Age 17 and up) There are two bars to each rank color through green. Brown has three grades. There are ten grades of black. 
 
Text Box: Achievement stripes are different colors and are worn on the other side of the belt, opposite of the rank. Achievement stripes for must be recertified at each color promotion.
Red stripe = Pee Wee and Junior training assistant
Yellow Stripe = Completion of Nage no Kata
Green Stripe = Completion of Katame no Kata 
Blue Stripe = Completion of Goshen Jitsu no Kata
