Sensei Robert Gustafson

 Sensei Robert  is married  to Stacey . Their three children Belynda,  Kjersti and Cameron are also Judo Players.  He is a long time resident of Frazier Park. He is also a reserve Kern County Sheriff.

 He started judo at the old Mountain High Judo under Sensei George Gordoni where he earned the rank of brown belt. He also studied for a period of time in Japan. Sensei Gustafson returned to judo in April of 2000 after a ten-year absence from the sport. He is one of the first members of Mountain Judo, and in August of 2003  he became the first member to earn his black belt there. He is a  Nidan and a USJA Level II certified Coach.
