He has been practicing Judo for 37 years and teaching for 13 years. He started judo as a child at Rendokan Dojo with his first teacher, Sensei Ken Carson. He received his black belt in judo from Sensei John Ogden of Ogden Judo School in Long Beach. Over the years he has been a member of several other dojos, including Tucson Judo, L.A. Judo, San Fernando Judo and Santa Clarita Judo. He is one of the founding members of Antelope Valley Judo. Sensei Guerrero has coached numerous Junior & Senior Athletes to medals at the Local, State, National, and International level. He is a life member of the United States Judo Association.
